Trip Germany

Planning your trip germany can be one of the harder things to accomplish while planning your travels. Questions arise such as where to go, what to do, when to go and how much money will you need will always arise when planning your vacation. Planning trips to any European destination is a hard task in itself but when you break it down to each country, you'll notice some countries offer more for less and some are just down right expensive. Below is a list of ideal items and checklist that you will need while traveling to Germany. This list was made from my personal travels and me living in Germany. So here we go with your trip Germany.

1. Traveling Passport This is the number one item that most people, believe or not, overlook while traveling to Europe. Make sure you have this before book any reservations or plane tickets. You can get your passport from your local post office and it takes roughly two weeks to get. Prices vary from state to state.

2. Bring Extra Cash No doubt during your travels you will find all type's of festivals, especially if you travel during the summer season, and more than likely you will find alot of items that you wish to purchase. Make sure you have enough money to cover this. I can't give you a primary amount you should have but, I recommend setting aside at least $500 for emergency funds.

3.Buy or bring a cellphone You shouldn't have a problem keeping together with family or friends but it's always better to be safe then sorry. Read my cellphones in Europe page for a list of options.

4.Bring clothing for all seasons I cannot stress this enough as Germany, although warm during June-August, the chance of rain or cold weather is always there. Make sure you pack a rain jacket. Trust me, when the rain come's you'll be glad you did. Also, rainfall in Germany doesn't last long so it will be rainy one day and sunny the next.

5.Get Tourist Maps Depending where you go in germany, you will see tourist maps around at local shops. Purchase these, they offer the best navigational aide's you could use. Plus they show you where everything is:)

6.Bring lost of film for your camera You will have so much to see I know you will want to capture every moment. Make sure you pack alot of film for your camera. I recommend buying it from your home as German film and camera's are pricey. But if you run out of film, have no fear, most shops in Germany offer disposal camera's for a decent price.

AND THE FINAL MOST IMPORTANT TIP........HAVE FUN:) Your in Germany, you will have experiences of a lifetime and meet new friends. Germans are very friendly and they love travelers. Try learning some German, most Germans like to hear you speak it to them. It shows you have interest in their culture and that in turn will make your trip that much more pleasant.

So on your trip germany, I advise you to pack a smile and enjoy your vacation I'm sure you will not be dissapointed. Thank you for visiting trip germany, I invite to keep traveling throughout the site to explore more:)
