If you want to camp, which is your cheapest route, you could expect to pay anywhere from 10-20 Euro’s. This includes a tent for two people, which is a great deal. Some of the hostels, unbelievably, have spaces for camping as well. The prices for camping range due in part to the time of season that you may travel. If you want to travel during the summer months, hotels in Ireland are normally booked full so make sure you book far in advance. If you cannot find a hotel to stay in, you may want to look at staying in one of the many hostels that Ireland has to offer. If you want to stay in the capital, Dublin, you can expect these prices to almost double, as the capital is a favorite amongst tourist. A final option for you is to stay in a bed and breakfast type accommodation. These are more like hotels and prices range from 35 Euro’s up until 70 Euro’s a night.

Bus
Bus systems services operate all over the country and go into Northern Ireland. The rates of a bus ticket cost less than the rail system. For a return trip, you can expect to pay slightly more. Most of the buses in Ireland’s inner city are owned and operated by Ulsterbus.
Cars
To rent a car, you must be over the age of 21. Some rental car agencies’ have age minimum age of 23 and you must have held a valid driver’s license for one year. You can rent a car for a maximum of three months and most of the time; you can use your home license. However, it is still a good idea to try to get your international driver’s license.
Bicycle
Ireland is one of the premiere European countries for bicycling. The weather can get bad and some of the roads are not built very well but, Ireland’s local population are mindful of bicyclist and there are many trails for tourist to explore.
